Advice for parents

To help lessons run smoothly :

  • Please arrive at the designated meeting point for your lesson.
  • Present your lesson card to the instructor at the meeting point.
  • Ensure you have a valid ski pass before the lesson begins. Ski passes are not included in the lesson price and are required to access the ski lifts.
  • Equipment is not provided. Please make sure your equipment is suitable for your height, weight and ability level.
  • esf does not provide insurance cover for its pupils. We therefore recommend that you check your personal insurance cover or take out suitable ski insurance if required.
  • Please inform us if your child has any medical conditions or specific health requirements.
  • If you have chosen the meal option, please let us know about any food allergies or dietary requirements.
  • To help your child settle into their group, please avoid waiting in front of the Children's Village or following them during lessons, as this may affect their progress and confidence.
  • Decisions regarding changes of level are made solely by the instructors.

Preparing for your child's arrival (ages 3–4)

  • Please note: you will be asked to provide proof of your child's identity on arrival.
  • You will need to go to reception to collect your course card.
  • Take your course card to the level sign where the instructors in blue will be waiting for you.
  • If you have chosen the meal option, please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements. The weekly menu is displayed at reception.
  • Please provide a small bag labelled with your child's name containing: comforter and dummy, sunglasses or ski mask, sun cream, tissues, snack and a drink.
  • Please label your child's skis and helmet with their first name. Labels are available from reception.
  • Please note that we reserve the right to withdraw a child from the programme if they are not fully toilet trained.

Extend your day with peace of mind
From 4:00pm, after skiing, your child can continue enjoying their day at the Children's Village with our entertainment programme, available as an optional add-on when booking.

Supervised by our team of activity leaders, children can enjoy a fun-filled programme tailored to their age group, including face painting, shows, games, puppet shows and surprise activities. The programme changes every day, offering new opportunities for fun, creativity and discovery.

The perfect option for parents who would like childcare until the end of the day, and for children who simply can't get enough of the Children's Village!

Good to know:
  • If you choose the entertainment programme option, your child must be collected at 5:30pm. Early collection will not be possible.
  • For your child's safety, an activity leader will be present at collection time to check the arrangements provided by parents, including the identity of the person authorised to collect the child.
  • Please note: entertainment activities are not available on Fridays. Children must therefore be collected at 4:00pm.
