Every winter and throughout the season, the esf Avoriaz Village des Enfants welcomes children aged 3–16 (ski coaching, confidence building and games). This allows them to discover skiing at their own pace thanks to their ski instructors and their creative teaching methods while their parents enjoy their favourite winter activities (skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, etc.).

Whether they are here for half a day or a full day, the Village des Enfants caters for each child's level, making learning in the mountains easier. In fact, ESF Avoriaz offers three tailor-made clubs: Little One’s club, the Children's Village and the Teen’s Club. There are also activities made to entertain the youngest children after their skiing sessions. They will leave with lots of wonderful memories (and a few extra friends)!

In the mountains of Haute-Savoie, it's not just the children who can have fun during their stay in the Alps. The esf Avoriaz has some great outdoor activities planned for you during your family winter vacation. As well as learning to ski, snowboard or go off-piste, you can also try other activities.

We also invite you to venture off the beaten track in Avoriaz with a range of unique activities, such as biathlon, snowshoe outing and cross-country skiing. This is another great way to explore the Portes du Soleil ski area at your own pace!

With esf Avoriaz, you can now choose a snowshoe outing in the Alps that suits you. Available for groups of four or more, you can book each outing for half a day, a full day or even a week. This way, you can explore the snow-covered countryside of Avoriaz and its surroundings at your own pace.

This winter, your instructor will take you on some of the most beautiful trails in the Portes du Soleil towards the Seraussaix farm, the Crêtes de Zore or the Lac de Montriond. These mountain destinations are chosen according to your physical condition, the weather, and what you want to see, as the elevation gain and the number of kilometres vary greatly from one route to another. It's a great way to experience nature in a different light, or at night — because the ESF also organises night-time outings.

If you're looking for an alternative to downhill skiing, cross-country skiing Avoriaz is an excellent option, offering new sensations thanks to two basic techniques: skating and classic cross-country skiing. Available as private or group lessons, this winter sport combining nature and skiing is accessible to everyone. Escape to the most remote corners of Avoriaz with your ESF instructor and take the time to enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings during your stay.

Have you tried cross-country skiing in the mountains before, but not laser rifle shooting? Biathlon takes you beyond that, combining these two activities in one. With the guidance of your esf Avoriaz instructor, you can safely emulate your favourite athletes and develop your endurance and concentration, while your children enjoy themselves at the leisure centre and have fun on the slopes.
