My child requires special educational support – what should I do?
If your child has a medical condition, disability, physical impairment, learning difficulty or any other specific need, please make sure to inform us through the contact form before the start of the lessons. This will allow us to put the most appropriate support and teaching arrangements in place to ensure your child has the best possible experience.
What programme is available for my level?
  • Complete Beginner
Discover skiing through specially designed learning activities, including small moguls, straight runs with obstacles and purpose-built practice courses featuring poles, cones, hoops and banked turns.

  • I've already skied for one week
Develop your skiing skills on a dedicated training slope with activities designed to recreate situations encountered on the mountain. Expect fun sessions, slalom courses, whoops, mini jumps and more. Your instructor will also take you onto Avoriaz's blue runs, where you'll continue to build confidence while learning essential mountain safety rules.

  • Intermediate skier
Improve your technique and independence by combining training sessions on the resort's slalom courses with exploration of the Avoriaz and Portes du Soleil ski areas. Activities may include mogul skiing, jumping and parallel slalom challenges, skiing in varying snow conditions, powder skiing, and preparation for ESF ski tests.

  • Gold Star Level
You have two options: Team Rider or Competition.

1) Team Rider
A fun-focused programme designed for confident young skiers, featuring:
- Moguls
- Introductory off-piste skiing
- All-terrain skiing
- Snowpark sessions
You'll meet skiers your own age and share exciting experiences with ESF's passionate instructors.

2) Competition
  • Led by specialist race coaches, including competition trainers, official course setters, former high-level athletes and experienced esf instructors. The minimum entry requirement is the Bronze Arrow (Flèche de Bronze). Beyond racing and speed, the Competition programme helps develop advanced skiing skills across a wide variety of terrain and snow conditions, both on and off piste.

Can I book a snowboard lesson for my teenager?
