Advice for parents

For your child’s comfort and well-being:
  • In the morning, once you’ve handed your child over to their activity leader, please leave without lingering too long: a quick departure often helps them cope with the separation more calmly and enjoy their day to the full.

Equipment to bring

To ensure the week runs smoothly:
  • In the mountains, the weather can change quickly: make sure you pack a layered outfit, with warm and waterproof clothing that can be put on or taken off as needed.
  • For all activities, your child must wear trainers.
  • Opt for comfortable clothing, such as sports shorts or jogging bottoms.
  • Please pack a small rucksack suitable for their size containing: a waterproof jacket, a fleece (even in good weather), sunglasses, a cap, sun cream, a snack, and a water bottle.
  • For younger children, a comfort blanket may be useful in case of tiredness or a minor upset.
  • If we’re having a picnic, bear in mind that your child will have been active all day and will therefore be ravenous!
A hearty picnic, even for fussy eaters, is strongly recommended.
